Ring size guide
Need help finding your or partner's ring size?
Planning a secret proposal takes a lot of patience and skill. Finding out your partner’s ring size is about using a lot of different tools and techniques in order to make sure it’s ready for the special day.
Don’t worry; sizing your partner’s ring is something you don’t have to do alone as there’s plenty of assistance along the way.
Here, we share four ways to help you order the right ring size.
1. Order a free ring sizer
Fill out the form below to request a free ring sizer. To use, slip it on the finger you'd like to measure and adjust until comfortable. While sizing may not be completely accurate, it should help give you a very good estimate.
2. Print our measuring guide
If you're in a hurry and looking for help on how to measure you ring size at home, make sure you take a look at our handy guide. Click the button below to download the full guide. You’ll need a printer and the ring you’d like to measure.
- Download our guide via the button below and print it to the correct scale as this will be important to ensure your measurements are correct. The full details on how to do this are included.
- Find the ring you want to measure and place it on one of the circles below.
Keep measuring the ring until you match a circle to the inside of the ring.
- Ensure that the line matches perfectly with the inside of the ring. There should be no gap between the line and the inside of the ring at any point.
- Make a note of the letter of your ring size. You'll need this when ordering your ring design.
3. Use another ring
If they already own any rings, then all you need to do is quickly borrow a ring while they’re distracted and using a pencil and paper, trace one circle on the inside (diameter) of the ring and another circle on the outside (circumference) of the ring. Do it a few times if time allows (and try with other rings) to double check that your measurements are correct. The above guide features an international ring size chart you can use to match up the measurements to the ring size.
4. Ask for help from others
Asking your partner’s parents or their best friends is a great starting point. Get their friends and family to casually try on some inexpensive rings in order to get a rough idea of what the ring size might be. Combining this approach with a measuring table means you’ll have a much better time of getting the ring size correct. You can come to our stores to talk about finding the right ring size as well as browse our samples in order to pick the ring.
5. jewelry repairs
The standard timeframe for repairs is 10—14 working days. If you need to send your item for repair, please contact our Customer Care Team. In the unlikely event that there is a manufacturing fault, our Lifetime Manufacturing Guarantee means we’ll fix your jewelry free of charge. We will assess your jewelry once it’s been received and you’ll be contacted should any charges apply.
If an item must be remade, please allow 2—4 weeks for the process to be completed. For more information about repairs, please email [email protected] or call 0207 442 5550 to speak with our team.
The Perfect Fit: our services
Plenty of people don’t get the size exactly right on the first time so there’s no need to panic—it happens all the time. It’s just a simple case of sending the ring off for a resizing in order to get the perfect fit. We offer a free one time ring re-sizing service for most products bought from us, covered for 30 days from dispatch (and only if the ring is unused and is still in pristine condition). Please note that full eternity rings and bespoke items cannot be resized, owing to the complexity of the designs.
Are there any additional costs?
If there’s any additional resizing that needs to be done after our one-time 30 day period, additional charges will apply. This can be as little as $69 depending on the design. Delivery and insurance charges will apply in order to send the ring to us and back.
