Each of our creations is designed to accompany you through time. We have gathered our most valuable care advice into this guide, ensuring your jewellery maintains its brilliance day after day.
Essential Precautions
Remove your jewellery before showering or bathing. Over time, soap residue can dull the brilliance of your pieces, particularly your diamonds.
Daily skincare products (such as creams and sun lotions) can diminish the shine of your jewellery. Residue may accumulate around the stones and in the intricate details of your piece. For this reason, we recommend putting on your jewellery only after completing your beauty routine (make-up, perfume, hairspray).
Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, which, despite their apparent efficiency, can weaken the setting of your diamonds due to vibrations. Contrary to popular belief, toothpaste should also be avoided on gold jewellery, its abrasive nature can damage delicate designs, especially those in 18 carat gold.
Swimming pools, spas, and cleaning products contain chlorine and other chemicals that may permanently dull the brilliance of your jewellery. Make a habit of removing your pieces before such activities, or wear protective gloves. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly before putting them back on.
Every piece deserves its own protective case. To preserve their beauty, store your jewellery separately, ideally in its original box or wrapped in a soft cloth. If using a jewellery box, choose one with compartments to prevent scratches.
Discover the essential steps to maintain the beauty of each of your pieces.
Rings, worn daily, require regular care. Soak them for 15 to 30 minutes in a bowl of warm, soapy water, then dry gently with a soft cloth. For a more thorough clean, use a soft toothbrush to restore the shine of gemstones and clean the intricate details of the setting.
Although necklaces require less frequent maintenance, a few simple steps will help preserve their beauty. Detach the pendant from the chain and gently wipe it with a damp cloth. The chain can be cleaned by soaking it in warm, soapy water before carefully drying it with a soft cloth.
For perfect hygiene, we recommend cleaning earring backs with a disinfectant solution. The decorative parts will regain their brilliance with a gentle brush dipped in warm water, paying close attention to the settings and gemstones. Finish with a delicate drying using a soft cloth.
To stand the test of time while maintaining their splendour, your jewellery deserves expert attention. White gold, for instance, may require a new rhodium plating after a few years to restore its original whiteness and shine. Our artisans offer a range of bespoke services, including deep cleaning and setting checks. We are always available to answer any questions you may have.
